Memorial service with Military Honors for Edward Paul Adams II, 60 of Hollis, Oklahoma will be at the Eldorado Methodist Church on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Freddy Reyes officiating under the direction of Harmon County Funeral Home, Hollis, Oklahoma. Visitation will be at the Funeral Home on Friday, May 8, 2015 between 5:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M.
Mr. Adams died Wednesday, May 6, 2015.
Edward Paul Adams II was born to Edward Paul and Lola Ireta (Walker) in Bethesda, Maryland on August 8, 1954. He married Donna Sue May on March 30, 1993 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He joined the U.S. Army in 1977 and was discharge in 1980 and later joined the Oklahoma National Guard retiring in 1999 after receiving many awards and honors.. He worked as a Office Manager for Western Fiber for many years. He was a member of the Eldorado Methodist Church. Paul enjoyed classic cars, NASCAR and drag racing. The family would like to thank the Jackson County Memorial Hospital Hospice for their loving care and compassion.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, 2 uncles and an aunt.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, James Adams and his fiance Angie of Kingston, Missouri; a daughter, Jennifer and her husband Bob Heil of Kingston; 4 grandchildren, Riley, Ryann, Montana and Dalton; 2 sisters, Ireta and her husband Merl Ekstrom of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan and Maureen and her husband Gregg Obuch of Austin, TX; a sister in law, Teddy and her husband Jon Yowell of Hollis; cousins, Charlie Cole and wife Charlotte of Ft. Worth, Lester Cole and wife Vicki of Longview, TX, Carl Cole of Ft. Worth and Karen and husband Keith Freeburg of Sanford Lake, MI and many other relatives and friends.
